One of the best quotes ever. You can tell it’s Monday and all I can do is laugh. The day started with me sleeping in until 6am! I was very excited. When I rolled out of bed I had one mission for myself. To get my house clean. I attempted to do this all weekend but it just didn’t work out that way. I was more like a beached wale then a contributing member of society. Apparently pregnancy does that to you.
I decided to start on the kitchen. I loaded and ran the dishwasher, with a few big pots left over I started to fill the sink to wash them by hand. . . I walked away and forgot I had the water filling up the sink. There was water and suds all over the counter, the floor and of course in both my sinks. I turned off the water, laughed and started to clean this mess up. While this was happening Toby my eldest cat decided it would be a good idea to vomit in 3 different places. Well I gaged while cleaning it up and then of course laughed. It was going to be one of those days.
I did get my house clean, top to bottom. Better Homes and Gardens can come and take their photos now and I can relax.
I decided to work on my family tree a bit. It’s been something I started working on last year but put it on the shelf just due to lack of time. Since I have some time on my hands now I thought I would pick it up again. To make a long story short I hit the wrong button and lost the entire tree. On the upside I have the backup and only lost about 2 hours of data entry. I am glad I didn’t lose the entire tree because that would have sucked.
So I am taking a break from life to tell you about my Monday. As I type this I have dropped chocolate ice cream on my white shirt, had both cats help themselves to my ice cream and I just pray that prepping dinner goes smoothly. I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before I go from laughing to all the follies of Monday to crying.
